As regular readers know, I get the chance to attend a lot of healthcare conferences. This is particularly true during the busy Fall conference season. One of the most unique conferences I’ve attended this Fall was the SOAR conference hosted by Bluebird Leaders in Atlanta. For those not familiar with the conference, it’s a healthcare women’s leaders conference. Now you understand why they invited me to attend (that’s a joke for those that missed the joke font). Jokes aside, it was quite the experience to attend a women’s healthcare leaders event as a man and I was excited to share some of the key messages from the event. Plus, at the event, I had the pleasure to sit down with Dawn Whitney, CEO at ElevateX Leadership Collective. She was a keynote at the conference and shared a number of compelling leadership insights and personal stories that were inspiring.
